Tunisian National Team Keeper Threatens to Quit Saudi Club Over Unpaid Wages

Tunisia’s national team goal stopper Farouk Ben Mustapha is threatening to turn his back on Saudi Premier League club Al Shabab over unpaid wages.
The net-minder’s relationship with the six-time Saudi league winners turned fractious after the King Fahad Stadium Riyadh outfit owed him several months of earnings.

In spite of the situation, the Carthage Eagles’ skipper had still appeared in league matches for the side but has now grown frustrated.
This week, the 28-year-old took a stern move by giving club chairman Ahmad Al Aqil a deadline until the end of this month to settle the debt failure of which, the player said, he will be prompted to terminate his contract.

Currently in camp with the Tunisian national team for their test game with Iran, Farouk has been a standout for Al Shabab playing all twenty-four matches of the team’s Pro League games.
