Former US Bitam hit-man Axel Meye Me Ndong has completed a one-year deal to Kuwait Premier League side Qadsia Sporting Club Kullar.
The 23-year old Gabonese last season featured for Paris FC, a French second division side and became an integral part of the first team.
He is expected to add more bite to the attack of coach Marin Ion as the Kings eye a great season after failing to capture the Kuwait First Division title last season.
Ndong, who formerly played for Manisaspor FC and Eskişehirspor in the Turkish League, expressed delight at joining the seventeen-time champions in an interview from his new base.
“So happy to have signed for Qadsia Sporting Club Kullar in one of the best leagues in the world,” Ndong said.
The forward believes this is a new beginning in his career shortly after signing his part of the contract.
“I enjoyed my time at Paris FC and I want to thank the management and fans. Now onto a new chapter of Kuwait League. Big thanks to everyone who makes this possible. For me I’m grateful. I can’t wait to get started!.”
Ndong was adjudged as 2014 Gabon Champions National Division One League season discovery of the year. He won the best player of the club the following season before picking the club’s top scorer award in 2015 season after netting 15 goals for the side.
He was part of The Panthers squad that stunned West African football giants Ivory Coast beating 2-1 in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers last year and boasts of 14 caps, with two goals to his credit.
