Zamalek Midfielder Joins Ismaily on Loan

Zamalek midfielder Mahmoud Ndunga has been loaned to Egyptian Premier League rivals Ismaily for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old, who joined White Knights from Egyptian Club for Clearing in 2016, will be staying with the Yellow Dragons till the end of the season in a loan deal that is worth 84,000 USD.
Ali Ravci recently bolstered the squad with arrival of Moroccan striker Khalid Bouatib from Turkish side Yeni Maltyaspor after loaning Congolese striker Kabongo Kasongo to Saudi side Al-Wehda for the next six months.
“I started my career at Ismaily so the club is not new to me,” Dunga told Ismaily official Twitter account.
“I would like to thank the club’s chairman Ibrahim Othman, he’s been working on this deal for two months and I hope I can make him proud.”
Zamalek pointed out that according to Dunga’s new contract, he will not be able to play against Zamalek in any friendly, local or African games.
Dunga failed to make a single appearance for the Cairo giants last season, leaving him no choice but to inform the club to sell or loan him.
There was also a push from Ibrahim Osman, the head of Darwish who in various occasions visited the White Castle demanding the Zamalek board of directors, to allow the midfielder join his club.
Zamalek are leading the league table with 38 points, eight points ahead of second place Pyramids.
