Man United Plotting £84m Koulibaly Bid

Kalidou Koulibaly could be swapping clubs with suitors Manchester United on the brink of launching an £84m bid for the Senegalese.

27 years old and under contract until June 2023, the centre-back tops Red Devils’ shopping-list with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer preoccupied with bolstering his backline with acquisition of the West African.

The Premier League outfit are mulling tempting their transfer-target’s employers, Napoli, to the negotiation table with the aforesaid price but whether that would be enough to sway the Serie A giants remains the begging question.

Manager Ole hopes to complete his transfer dealings early for start of pre-season this July but faces stiff competitions for the defender who’s also being eyed by Real Madrid and PSG.

Reports have long suggested Koulibaly would fancy playing in the EPL but the lure of moving to Madrid or PSG are options he is believed to be pondering over too, which United must fend off if getting their man is top on their priority.
