South Korea champions Jeonbuk Hyundai have completed the signing of Reading wider man Modou Barrow.
The 27-year-old Gambia international joins the club from Turkish side Denizlispor where he spent the past season on loan from Reading.
He scored 14 goals in his 82 appearances for Reading since joining in 2017.
In a post on his Twitter page, Barrow thanked Reading fans in an emotional message.
He wrote: “The time has come for me to accept a new challenge in my career. As a professional football player we look forward to challenges and improving but to say goodbye sometimes is always the hardest.
“I would like to say I am grateful for the fond memories and great time spent with you all at Reading FC. To all the wonderful staff, I enjoyed working with you all.
“Special thank you to the amazing fans who showed up come rain, come sunshine supporting and cheering us to reach our goals. For this, I say a big thank you till we meet again. Once a ROYALS always a ROYALS you guys will always be in my heart.”
Before switching to Reading, Barrow played for Swansea, a club that sent him on three spells to Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United.
Last season he only returned three goals in 24 league outings for Denizlispor, with his last match being a Turkish Super Lig game against Gençlerbirligi on March 14.
During his last days at Denizlispor, Barrow was reported to have walked out of their training camp in Turkey, in an ongoing dispute over unpaid wages.
The versatile winger, who can play on either flank and as a centre-forward, joins a Jeonbuk side currently second in the K-League, three points off leaders Ulsan Hyundai.
