Rwanda’s Ministry of Sports has given an indication that senior men national team new head coach will be announced to the world on Friday.
Sources close to the committee tasked to find the coach tell Ducor Sports that 32 coaches applied for the job, but no Rwandese was included.
Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju, the Minister of Sports, has also told reporters that the government together with Rwandan FA want someone who will get going immediately.

It is widely thought that despite the plethora of names mentioned, Serbian Zlatko Krmpotic is the favorite for Rwandese FA.
Krmpotic will come to replace Vincent Mashami, who will retain the job as the coach of the CHAN team after his contract with the senior men’s national team elapsed on February 11.
The 62-year-old has vast experience in coaching in Africa at club level, having handled APR of Rwanda, Zesco United (Zambia), Tout Puissant Mazembe (the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Polokwane City in South Africa and Yanga of Tanzania.
He will now have an opportunity to showcase what he is capable of as the main task will be qualifying the East African nation for the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
Rwanda are scheduled to face Mozambique on March 22 in Kigali, before travelling to Cameroon for their final Group F qualifier on March 30.
The Amavubi is bottom of the group with two points, two behind second-placed Cape Verde and Mozambique who have four points apiece, while giants Cameroon top the table with 10 points.
