Senegal will square off with Malawi in their final 2021 Africa Cup of Nations Group B match at the Stade Omnisports de Bafoussam in Cameroon on Tuesday.
Kick-off is at 16h00 GMT.
The Lions of Teranga remain undefeated at the tournament after drawing 0-0 with West African rivals Guinea at the Bafoussam Stadium on Friday.
As a result, Senegal are placed second on the Group B standings with four points from two matches. They have accumulated the same points as leaders Guinea.
The Lions of Teranga will advance to the Round of 16 if they register a win or draw against a much-fancied Malawi side.
“Guinea played a perfect game and we have to commend them but now we go back and work to ensure we get three points from our next opponents Malawi,” said Senegal coach Aliou Cisse.
“The competition has good teams and even though many people expect us to win all games our ambitions remain the same and we want to build from the draw.”
Sadio Mane, who scored the solitary goal in their opening match against Zimbabwe, will be keen to score again, and help the Lions of Teranga win.
Meanwhile, Malawi recorded their first win at the tournament when they beat Zimbabwe 2-1 in Bafoussam on Friday.
The win took the Flames to the third place on the Group B with three points from two games. They are only a point behind leaders Guinea and Senegal.
The South Africans side will reach the Round of 16 if they defeat tournament favorites Senegal, who are the top ranked side in Africa.
Gabadinho Mhango scored a brace against Zimbabwe and he will look to inspire the Flames to victory on Tuesday.
In head-to-head stats according to the FIFA.com, Senegal and Zimbabwe have clashed three times. Senegal have won past two meetings Malawi being victorious on one occasion.
The other Group B match in this round sees Zimbabwe take on Guinea on Tuesday evening, at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium Stadium.
