Etoile du Sahel will be eyeing for a winning start in the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League Group C when they face CR Belouizdad at the Stade Olympique de Rades on Friday.

The Tunisian side reached the group stages after defeating Rwandese outfit APR FC 5-1 on aggregate in the second round.
They failed to win their most recent competitive game as they played to a goalless stalemate with Soliman in the Tunisian Ligue 1 game.
Veteran Yacine Chikhaoui will be hoping to deliver for the Reds and Whites again on Friday. The midfielder netted a brace against APR in the second-round.
Etoile du Sahel are targeting their second Champions League title. The Reds and Whites beat Egyptian giants Al Ahly 3-1 to clinch the title in 2007.
Meanwhile, CR Belouizdad will be out to record a crucial away victory when they lock horns with Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel on Friday evening.
The Algerian giants reached the group stages after eliminating ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast on away goal rule after a 3-3 on aggregate in the second round.
Belouizdad recorded a convincing win in their previous competitive game last weekend. They thumped WA Tlemcen 3-0 in the Algerian Ligue 1 game.
Sofiane Bouchar has had a good 2021/ 2022 CAF Champions League campaign having scored two goals in the competition. The winger will look to inspire Belouizdad to victory against Etoile du Sahel.
The Great Chabaab are also targeting their maiden Champions League title. Their best performance in recent years was when they reached quarterfinals of the last season where they were eliminated by Tunisian side Eseperance.
Egyptian referee Brahim Noureddine will be in charge of the Group C game between Etoiled du Sahel and CR Belouizdad on Saturday evening.
He will be assisted by his compatriots Samir Gamal Saad and Youssef Wahid Seif while Gamal el Ghandour will be the fourth referee for the match.
