Allan Okello Returns To KCCA From Paradou On Season-Long Loan

Allan Okello has made a shock return to KCCA FC after the Impalas completed a season-long loan move for the Paradou FC forward with an option to buy.

The Ugandan international has sealed the surprise homecoming to Lugogo two-and-half years from an acrimonious exit in one of the final twists to a dramatic Uganda transfer window.

The 2019 FUFA’s Most Valuable Player now heads back to his home country where he forged his reputation as one of the game’s strongest talents.

In a club release confirming Okello’s capture, KCCA failed to mention that they will be obliged to sign the attacker permanently.

The 22-year-old had signed four-year-deal with Ligue Proffesionale 1 side after a long chase which saw two bids from Algiers side rejected.

Before his move back to KCCA, Okello is reported to have made 43 appearances and scored 17 goals in all competitions for the PAC.

Okello started his career at KCCA Soccer Academy in 2015 before being promoted to the senior team in 2017.

The left-footed striker made his debut for the senior team on 27th February 2017 at the age of 16 and endeared himself to the club’s fans, with his performance and demeanour on and off the pitch.

At the time of his departure, Okello was the club’s top scorer in the Uganda Premier League with six goals in the 10 games he played in the first round of the 2019/2020 season.
