Nigeria’s 2015 World Youth Championship Winning Team Criticized for Being Overly Ambitious

Nigeria’s 2015 World Youth Championship winning team was ridiculed by respected Dutch agent Erik Patrick who slammed the lads’ fanciness for big clubs as outrageous.

Only six from the trophy winning team managed to secure contracts with big clubs while the rest of the team has had offers hard to come by.

Patrick says the players’ inability to secure deals is a result of their refusal to start from a lower European league.

Patrick told Owngoalnigeria.com.

“I won’t mention names but most of them are driven by money even their family members view them like gold mines. I am seriously afraid most of them won’t progress unless they accept to start small and grow big.”
