Gun-point Saga Victim Clifton Miheso Takes the Case to FIFA

Kenya’s playmaker Clifton Miheso has now filled a case with FIFA over claims that he was forced to end his contract with the Golden Arrows at gun-point in front the club’s Chief Executive, Gordon Masondo on February 14th.

The Former Arrows winger claims he filled a request for investigation into the manner in which his contract was ended with the South African FA but they bluntly denied receiving any information about the matter.

The Kenyan international had joined arrows at the start of the season and featured in 11 league games for the “Abafana Bes’thende” without scoring a goal before he was let go.

He says he was called to the club’s Durban offices in the presence of the club’s Chief Executive, Gordon Masondo and two gunmen and forced to terminate his contract while at gun-point.

Miheso also went ahead explaining how he wasn’t sure what would happen to him therefore signing the contract out of fear for his life.

The 24-year-old says he’s seeking his full owed salary of $22,000 and maybe a transfer ban or other deserving sanctions to be put on the South African side Golden Arrows.

The winger’s legal team says the club has failed to provide any satisfactory and necessary information about the incident.

Despite the many claims, Golden Arrows denied the allegations only once and have since declined to comment on the matter altogether.
