Cameroon’s Footballer Ambroise Stranded in Brussels

The saga dogging the Cameroonian national team refuses to cease.

First gaffer Hugo Broos is contemplating leaving the team over poor management and now is defender Ambroise Oyongo Bitolo.

Defender Ambroise, who plies his trade with Major League Soccer’s Montreal Impact, is left stranded and red-faced in Brussels after Cameroon’s game against Guinea Conakry.

It turned out that the erstwhile Coton Sport defender was not catered for with a return plane ticket by the Cameroon Football Federation, leaving him stuck in Belgium.

Exasperated, the 25-year-old did not hesitate to let rip into the CFF’s poor management of the team.

Taking to social media, he said: “I’m stuck because I do not have my return ticket. I’m here waiting, no one answers (the phone)

Bitolo’s unpleasant situation comes much as a distraction to Montreal gaffer Mauro Biello’s plans to field Ambroise for Saturday’s MLS game against the Chicago Fire.
