Victor Wanyama Back in Contention after Being Sidelined for Over Four Months with a Knee Injury

Kenya and Tottenham Hotspur’s Victor Wanyama is back in contention after being out for more than four months because of a knee injury.

“I now feel okay; the pain is gone. I am excited to be back. Playing is one of the things I really enjoy and importantly, I am relaxed. If the manager selects me, I will be ready for the assignment” Wanyama said.

“Victor is going to be ready and now there is a lot of competition in the squad. It is great for the team to be available in such a busy schedule.” Pochettino told the Club’s official website. “The good news is that he is training and available for selection”. The Manager added.

Tottenham will have a game on Tuesday against Swansea and on Thursday against West Ham. It will remain to be seen in which game the Kenyan will feature in a bid to gain full fitness.
