Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards have appointed a new coach to replace Andre Casa Mbungo.
As exclusively revealed by Ducor Sports, Tomas Trucha will take over at the Den and will be assisted by Antony Kimani, who has been in charge of the team on an interim basis.
The club has confirmed the arrival of Trucha in a statement posted on their official Twitter handle.

“The 47-year-old Czech Republic national is a UEFA PRO licensed coach. He will be assisted by Antony Kimani who resumes his position after serving in a caretaker capacity. ”
Trucha, who arrived in the East African country on Monday 5 October, has signed a one-and-a-half-year deal.
He holds UEFA B and A PRO licenses and his last managerial position was with Botswana Premier League giants Township Rollers.
Trucha took the helm in July 2019, but his poor results did not give him much time, though the club treated the matter with respect and preferred not to divulge the internal dynamics that led to his sacking.
Trucha, who also previously managed another Botswana team Orapa United, failed to qualify for this year’s African Champions League group stages after losing to Tanzanian team Young Africans 2-1 in the preliminary round on aggregate.
