Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has named a provisional 30-man squad for next month’s Total Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Black Stars squad announced by Rajevac include four debutants namely, Khlaid Abdul Mumin of Vitoria de Guimaraes and Salis Abdul Samed from French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot.
Other new faces in the squad are Maxwell Abbey Quaye from Accra Great Olympics and David Abagna of Real Tamale United.
Arsenal star Thomas Teye Patey, who missed last month’s World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa due to injury, has been included in the squad.
Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo has been surprise exclusion from the squad that has Belgium based winger Joseph Painstil and the Ayew brothers.
Ghana will hold a nearly three-week training camp in Qatar, including three warm-up matches, before flying to Cameroon ahead of the Cup.
