The Central Africans impressed at Stade General Seyni Kountche in Niamey on Tuesday in their Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations second Group A game.

The Young Swallows pegged the hosts back as Kanakimana Bienvenu snatched an important goal to cancel Niger’s 2-3 lead.

My players were a little complex at first but now they start to get into the competition and believe me, we will fight to the end to pass this stage.”   [/perfectpullquote]

“I’m happy with the result because we played a good game and a point is good going into our game against South Africa,” he said in a post-match interview.

Burundi’s next game will see them face South Africa at Stade de Maradi on Friday, and Bipfubusa will be eager for his side to take more of the chances they create in their must-win game.
