Alain Traoré: Burkina Faso Striker In Talks With Alta Solar 7 Over Shock Free Transfer

Burkina Faso striker Alain Traore could be in line for a shock move after it was confirmed he’s in talks with a new club after leaving Moroccan giants RS Berkane.

After leaving the Oranges following the expiry of his three-year deal, the Burkina Faso international has been on the lookout for his tenth club of his professional career.

Widely considered as one of the most talented, Traore, who is older brother to Aston Villa forward Bertrand Traore, it appears his next step could see him move to East Africa as Djiboutian Premier League side Alta Solar 7  have opened talks with his representatives over a potential switch.

The former AJ Auxerre attacker is expected to sign a two-year contract Altra Solar, who secured their first-ever domestic league title this season.

After parting ways with Berkane, Traore had been training with the reserves side of French League 1 side Monaco, a club that he turned for six years ago on loan from Lorient.

If the move goes through Tarore could be the latest African star to move to Djiboutian league after Cameroon football starts Carlos Kameni, Alexander Song and Dany Nounkeu who are on the club’s books.

Traore, who won 55 caps for the Stallions, is expected to play a key role in helping the club navigate its maiden CAF Champions League campaign.

Alta Solar will face Kenya’s Tusker FC in their CAF Champions league first preliminary according to the draw that was conducted by the African football governing body in Cairo ten days ago.
