Alain Traore Signs Two-Year Arta Solar Deal After Leaving RS Berkane

Burkina Faso international Alain Traore has signed a two-year deal with AS Arta Solar 7 after leaving RS Berkane.

The 32-year-old’s deal with the Djiboutian Premier League side has an option for a third year.

Traore left RS Berkane in August after being released by the Moroccan top-flight outfit following the arrival of new coach Florent Ibenge.

The former Auxerre and Monaco forward successfully completed his medical tests and was officially unveiled on Friday.

He joins other African stars in the club led by Cameroonian trio of Carlos Kameni, Alexander Song and Dany Nounkeu who are on the club’s books.

The striker has been training with the side for the past two weeks following his arrival from France where he was reported seen with reserves side of French League 1 side Monaco.

Traore is expected to make his debut this weekend in their CAF Champions League clash against Kenya’s Tusker FC in Djibouti.

He is expected to play a key role in helping the club navigate its maiden CAF Champions League campaign after they won their first-ever domestic league title.
