Algeria are Favorites to Win Nations Cup Says Soudani

Nottingham Forest striker Hilal Soudani believes Algeria have what it takes to steal the Nations Cup off the grips of holders Cameroon.

And goal-getter England-based Soudani, who joined Forest last July from Croatian multiple time champions Dinamo Zagreb, feels Algeria are favorites to land the African gong.

“Obviously, for me the favorite to win the next Africa Cup of Nations is Algeria,” the 31-year-old said.

“I wish the selection a lot of success whether I am with the team at this AFCON or not. The bottom line is that the team makes a big performance,” he says.

Hilal is recovering from ligament damage after picking up a rapture at the start of the season ruling him out for over six months.

Soudani is capped eleven times for Algeria.
