The Desert Foxes move from 12th place to fourth in Africa behind top-ranked side Senegal, who they beat 1-0 in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals played a fortnight ago.

Senegal, who have occupied the summit for almost nine months now, rose two positions and now sit 20th in the world, up from 22nd.

Nations Cup semi-finalists Tunisia have maintained their second position in Africa though they dropped four positions globally as they are 29th.

Leaders Belgium maintained a slender lead while Brazil moved second while 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia winners France fell to third position.

England (4th, unchanged), however, are looking over their shoulders somewhat as Uruguay (5th, up 3) leapfrogged Portugal (6th, down 1).
