Algerian Boxers Get Biggest Reps for Tokyo Games

Algeria have more athletes qualifying for boxing in the events in Japan than any other African country.

Algeria have more athletes qualifying for boxing in the Tokyo Olympics than any other African country.

Tunisia comes second with six participants beside Algeria’s seven while Cameroon and Zambia each had two boxers sealing tickets for Japan.

Nambia, Uganda, Kenya and Ghana are the other countries to add to the number of qualified pugilists.

These numbers followed qualifiers held in Dakar, Senegal, in which the hosts failed to get any of the then available slots despite having boxers in the UK.
