Former Petro de Luanda forward Jacques Tuyisenge has secured a move to Rwanda Premier League champions APR.
The striker was released by Angolan side to go to his native Rwanda where he has signed a two-year deal with the army side.
While at Petro, he scored 4 goals in 15 appearances for the club before the league was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The forward had another year to run on his Petro de Luanda deal but the club decided to let him go to seek more playing time.
Recently, Tanzanian side Simba SC and DR Congo outfit AS Vita were among the clubs which were linked with the Amavubi captain.
APR took to their social media platforms to announce the deal on Thursday morning and welcomed the player to the club.
“Rwandan International Goal Machine Player’s Jacques Tuyisenge has penned a 2-year-deal with the Rwandan Giants APR FC,” the club tweeted.

He became a regular goal scorer for the K’Ogalo managing to score 50 goals for the team in two seasons with the side.

After losing the first leg 2-1 in Luanda, Tuyisenge scored the crucial penalty which guaranteed Gor Mahia’s passage to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
