Arsenal Beats the Manchester City and Chelsea to Complete Their Fourth Signing

The Nigerian 18-year-old starlet Kelechi Nwakali has finalised his long-awaited move to Arsenal. The under 20 captain attracted the attention of many European big teams as he inspired Nigeria to win the Under 17 world cup last year.

Kelechi who also won the under 17 World Cup golden ball as the player of the tournament caught the eyes of teams like Manchester City, Bayern Munchen, and Chelsea. However, former Arsenal player Nwanku Kanu, his idol, convinced him that the North London side would be a better choice.

The midfielder has been linked with Arsenal for a while and had trials with the club in January where he impressed.  Nwakali is believed to have signed a five-year deal for around 3 million pounds which will go to Nigeria Diamond Football Academy. The player hit social media announcing the deal even before the North Londoners had put out any news.
