Asante Kotoko forward George Abege could be on his way out the club, barely four months after joining the Porcupine Warriors.

The Ugandan international joined the Ghanaian side in June this year, but has hardly been given a chance to play since joining Kotoko from Kariobangi Sharks, with Kjetil Zachariassenn barely handing him any starts during his reign as head coach.

Abege was given just three appearances in the 2019 Normalization Committee Tier 1 Special Competition under Zachariassenn and will be eager to try and get things back on track if he does indeed leave Kumasi for new pastures.

Though his future is not certain at this point, one thing for sure is that Abege would not be short of options should he become available as a free agent, with clubs already keeping a close eye on his current situation to see what comes of it.

Nonetheless, it now remains to be seen where he will move to as the January transfer window will be open in a few coming weeks.

Meanwhile, apart from Abege several other players have been linked with an exit from the club including Augustine Sefah and experienced midfielder Jordan Opoku.
