Kenya’s Bandari FC will miss the services of striker Messi Agege and goalkeeper Justin Ndikumana when they take on Guinea’s Horoya AC in the play-off stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The two players were excluded from 20-man squad released for the match that will be played on Sunday 27th October in Conakry because of late registration.
“We signed Messi and Justin a bit late, and unfortunately with the current CAF rules we can’t play them until later on the competition,” Bandari said on their official website.
“They will be able to make the squad should we advance further in the CAF Confederation Cup, most definitely,” adds the statement.

The 19-year-old Agege joined the Dockers last season from Portugal’s top-tier club Sporting Lisbon while Ndikumana, a Burundian international, was signed from Kenyan Premier League side Sofapaka.
The team is set to depart for Guinea this afternoon aboard Emirates Boeing EK 722 via Dubai before connecting with Flight Boeing EK 797 to Conakry.
Bandari will be chasing for a win to have a healthy chance of advancing to the money-minting group stage.
