Benin international Sanni Jean-Marie Guera has admitted that he would not mind taking his playing career to the Kenyan Premier League.

Benin international Sanni Jean-Marie Guera has admitted that he would not mind taking his playing career to the Kenyan Premier League.

The Enyimba FC midfielder has been writing headlines in Nigeria this season and now revealed it would be tough to turn down a move to Gor Mahia.

The 22-year-old is experienced a stunning season in the Professional Football League where he has played eight of 13 games for the 14th-placed side.

Despite being happy at the Aba-based outfit, Guera told Ducor Sports that he has always dreamt of playing for Kenyan Premier League record champions.

“My dream is to play in the Kenyan Premier League before playing for any team abroad,” Guera said.

“I don’t think I will be moving after the end of this season but I’m not sure I’d say no if Gor Mahia called.

“They were my team growing up. I loved watching Okeke Izuchukwu and Andrew Oyombe on TV.

“They were my idols and playing for K’Ogalo has always been a dream.”

The Beninese, who once captained Benin Ligue 1 giants Energie FC, will be in action on Wednesday when Enyimba International FC take on Heartland in an NPLF league match.
