BREAKING: Algerian Star Sacked for Breaking Club Rules

Salim Boukhenchouche sacked by Algerian premier league outfit JSK Kabylie.

An Algeria national team player has been sacked by domestic side JSK Kabylie, Ducor Sports understands.

Salim Boukhenchouche fell out with the Algerian premier league outfit after failing to show up for training this week.

The latest trajectory comes just weeks after he and a teammate were forced to train in isolation from rest of the team for arriving late at the training ground.

Salim was supervised in training independently and handed a dressing down before being allowed to reunite with the squad a day later.

President Cherif Mellal is believed to have warned all players that a repeat of any such act will be met with the stiffest of retributions.

On the back of all these incidents, the 26-year-old still reportedly skipped workout sessions, something which, according to sources, left Cherif seething at the player’s “effrontery” to cross boundaries without “tangible reasons.”

Mellal blamed these antics for the player’s decline in form. It reels in after national team gaffer Djamel Belmadi also urged the defensive midfielder to show seriousness in camp if retaining his place in the Desert Foxes’ was a priority.

Fed up and in a fit of anger, JSK Kabylie’s board asked the player to seek greener pastures elsewhere.

Finer details of Boukhenchouche’s exit are set to be finalised this week.

Salim joined Kabylie July last year making the switch from fellow Algeria domestic outfit Olympique Medea for a fee quoted to be in excess of €250,000.
