The erstwhile Tottenham and Middlesbrough star man had the ax wielded on him for reportedly insulting his own club fan.

Now 36, Mido’s official twitter handle posted a comment raining volley of invectives at a fan.

Al-Wahda immediately released a statement sacking the former striker who’d led them to six wins in thirteen outings with four defeats.

Reacting to the issue, Mido denied making the comment himself, insisting his account was hacked.

In a bid to prove his innocence, the Egyptian said he would take up legal means.
