BREAKING NEWS: Zimbabwe Star Mathew Rusike Goes AWOL

Zimbabwe’s football star Mathew Rusike has gone AWOL after deserting his Tunisian club for London.

Reports emanating from Tunisia have it that the 27-year-old left Tunisian employers, Club Africain unannounced and is believed to be headed for London having grown tired of being told false promises by the board regarding his wages.

According to recent claims, although not confirmed, the player is vexed after not receiving his last month’s salary.

The club’s media officer wasn’t immediately available for comments when reached by Ducor Sports on Wednesday night.

The Zimbabwe national team star is however active on social media and a quick trawl through his Twitter handle shows him posting about recent events in his homeland.

Rusike joined the club from Swedish outfit Helsingborg BK January this year and has two years left on his current three-year contract.
