Al Ahly have announced their traveling squad ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against AS Vita, with several of their first team players missing from the squad.
The Red Devils will get their second last group D fixture underway this Saturday, March 9 in DR Congo, with the Cairo giants needing to avoid a loss in order to get closer to progressing to the next round.
Al Ahly have since announced their 21-man travelling squad for the fixture, with many of their first team players not making the trip.
Walid Soliman, Salah Mohsen have been excluded from the squad, with the players yet to return to full fitness, with Hossam Ashour and Hamdi Fathi also absent from the squad.
The Cairo giants will travel to DR Congo on Wednesday and will hold an open training session at Stade des Martyrs later in the evening.
Al Ahly managed to beat Vita Club 2-0 at Borg El-Arab in January, thanks to strikes from Nasser Maher and Ali Maaloul.
