Cameroonian Boxer Carlos Takam to Fight Anthony Joshua on October 28 in What Could Be an Upset for the World’s Best Heavyweight

Cameroonian boxer Armand Carlos Nesting Takam is set to fight Nigerian descent and Uk-born, Anthony Joshua after stepping in for injured Kubrat Pulev (shoulder injury) at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on October 28.

Joshua will be defending his WBA and IBF titles against the orthodox Cameroonian who won his professional debut in 2005 against Zinidine Benmakhouf and has 35 wins, 3 losses, 1 draw in 39 fights with 27 wins by KO

Despite being an underdog going into the scheduled match, Sky Sports boxing expert Adam Smith says Takam could cause an upset and beat Anthony Joshua who also revealed feeling extra pressure as he is preparing for Takam on short notice.

[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]”Takam is already as tough as they come. He’s so tough. He just keeps on walking forward and that’s disheartening for a fighter. When I’m in there with him, it will be interesting to see how the game and ready he is, and what fire he is ready to go through. I think we’re going for a 10 to 12 round here you know. This guy’s head is like a block of cement,”[/perfectpullquote]
