Under the guidance of coach Raoul Savoy, Central African Republic now occupy third place in Group C with four points from three matches so far.
Although a win will not come easy in Douala, a win will see them move top with seven points before the final round of matches in November.
On the other hand, the Super Eagles are chasing their seventh appearance in the global tournament and a second defeat to Central African Republic could be a huge blow.
Coach Gernot Rohr charges sit at the top of the group with six points and will be gunning to consolidate top spot in the group.
Super Eagles are Eagles captain Ahmed Musa says the team is highly motivated to beat Central African Republic.
Musa, who turns for Turkish Süper Lig club Fatih Karagümrük, insisted that the Super Eagles are ready to avenge the defeat this time around.
“We have talked together and know the importance of the game.It’s not a game we can joke with,” said Musa.
Stade De La Unification, Japoma, Douala will be the venue for the match, getting underway at 13:00 (GMT) on Sunday, October 10.
