Chipolopolo Land In Cameroon

The Zambia national team, Chipolopolo, safely landed in Cameroon on Thursday, September 30, 2021, for an international camp ahead of their upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier back to back matches against Equatorial Guinea.

The team, which is in camp at the Japoma Stadium, is set to hold a recovery session on Thursday night as they officially got their program underway.

Yet another session has been lined up on Friday morning, with only fourteen players checking in the camp. The remaining contingent is set to check in the course of the week.

Zambia has strategically set up camp in Equatorial Guinea which is within an hour’s flight from Douala and experiences similar weather conditions.

The Chipolopolo will be away to the Nzalang Nacional on October 7 before hosting the Central Africans three days later at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

Zambia is currently second on the standings on three points, three behind leaders Tunisia, and level on points with Equatorial Guinea.
