Choupo-moting: Cameroon are Favourites

PSG striker Eric Maxim Choupo-moting maintains Cameroon are favorites to pick all points against Comoros.

The Indomitable Lions play host to the island nation on Saturday as the fight for the second place heats up after Morocco finished top of the table.

And the 29-year-old Hamburg-born is buoyant that the African champions are favorites to land the spoils.

“I think we are (Cameroon) favorites. We play at home even if we know that it will not be easy. Our goal is clear, win this game and especially to make a good match. I feel good, and I’m going to give everything for a good performance, either by assisting or scoring as that’s my job,” the striker, who is on two goals in sixteen appearances for the PSG, said.

“It’s my job, it’s important for me to give my best to the team. Our opponents want to score, too. It is not easy, but as I said we play at home in our stadium, in front of our supporters,” he emphasized.

Competitions for the second spot to earn qualification is immense with just three points between Cameroon and Comoros.
