With another exciting weekend of Premier League football upon us, here is a roundup of all the weekend’s predicted scores and betting tips for all Game Week 14 matches.
We plan on making this an interactive feature each week and encourage you our esteemed readers to feel free to share your views in our comment section below.
Chelsea V/s Tottenham
We begin our roundup with the biggest match of the weekend, a London derby that the blues have dominated over the years. They have won seven, drawn 7 and lost only 3 to the Spurs in the last 17 games.
Chelsea have not conceded a goal in their last six games and are top of the table but will be facing the last unbeaten side in England.
Both teams have been brilliant this season but I expect a Chelsea win in this one. They may have Harry Kane back to boast their attack but after the terrible Champions League performance, I go with the more consistent side.
Chelsea V/s Tottenham 2-0
Watford v/s Stock.
A rather distraught Watford recovered well from their 6-1 walloping by Liverpool to beat the defending champions Leicester at Vicarage road last week.
On the other hand Stoke have now gone two games without a win and have only one win on the road this season. They have also been unbelievably shaky at the back so far. Adding that to the disappointing performance at Bournemouth last week, I will go with Watford on this one.
Prediction – Watford v/s Stock. 2-1
Arsenal V/s Bournemouth
They might have drawn 3 of their last 4, but to Arsenal fans, they have had a decent run over the month considering their November Curse. They are still title contenders but they need to start winning again to stay in the rather close race.
Bournemouth on the other hand look revived and ready to fight. With Arsenal’s Jack Wishere missing the game, they surely won’t have the team that beat Stock last week.
I will go with an easy Arsenal win on this one.
Prediction – Arsenal V/s Bournemouth 3-0
Southampton V/s Everton.
This will be an emotional game for Everton’s new manager Ronald Keoman who is visiting his old ground right after a bad result with Swansea.
Southampton put up a good show in their last game against Liverpool forcing the high scoring side to a 0-0 draw.
It’s a very tricky game for the sides since they have both found it hard to find the back of the net in their last few outings but basing on the current form of the Yannick Bolaise/ Romeru Lukaku partnership, I will go with Everton getting a hard earned win.
Prediction – Southampton V/s Everton 0 – 1
Manchester United V/s West Ham.
This is a must win for the Manchester Side after a run of poor form. They had a good show against Arsenal but were rather unlucky. The performance they put up against their rivals and the Mid-week Europa win is evidence enough the Red Devils should get back to their winning ways.
West Ham on the other hand were 2-1 up against Tottenham but defensive blunders saw them concede two goals in the last few minutes to lose the game 3-2. They have been unlucky this season and are currently just one point away from the relegation zone. This should be an easy win for the Red Devils.
Prediction – Manchester United V/s West Ham. 2 – 0
Burnley V/s Man City
Burley go to the Etihad coming from their worst game of the season, a surprise massive 4-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion last week.
They looked distant and unfocused despite putting up a fairly impressive performance against Man United in the 0-0 draw just a week before.
They are facing the big boys Manchester City as they look to regain their early season form and prove they are still title contenders. Burnley may be a stubborn side against the big sides but this should be an easy win for the Citizens.
Prediction – Burnley V/s Man City 0-3
Hull V/s West Bromwich Albion.
West Bromwich are so far doing well under Tony Pulis, the 4-0 win over Burnley is a testament to what they can achieve this season. They have even managed a win against defending Champions Leicester and will be beaming with confidence from their last game as the go to Hull this week.
Hull on the other hand have to improve their defense going into this one. They started well against Sunderland last week but couldn’t convert enough chances and hold the relegation side up to the end. They have lost four of their last five games. I expect an away win to West Bromwich Albion.
Hull v/s West Bromwich Albion. 1-2
Leicester V/s Middleborough.
The Foxes are without a win in three and have suffered this season whenever returning from Europe. This game is a must win for the Champions, they also go into this with a point to prove not only to themselves but to the world.
Without any mid-week distractions Middleborough have had a full week to prepare following their loss to Chelsea. They put up a solid performance against the table leaders, kept their calm and contained the Conte’s side up to the end.
Despite all this, I predict a Leicester win, their home record has been phenomenon and with Vardy nearing fine form, the Champions are expected to return to winning ways.
Prediction – Leicester V/s Middleborough. 2-0
Liverpool v/s Sunderland.
Liverpool will look to keep up the good run if they are to stay in the title contenders this season. Klopp’s side come into this game unbeaten in their last official 15 games. They are an altogether different side to face at home this season.
Sunderland are also looking to make it three wins in a row but this will be a tough one for them. I expect an easy Liverpool win in his one.
Prediction – Liverpool v/s Sunderland 3 – 1
Swansea V/s Crystal Palace
With both teams in this one on pressure for a win, they will give it their all. A very hard match to call.
Swansea have no win since the opening day and will have to be on their absolute best to stand a chance against Crystal Palace, while to Crystal Palace’s advantage, they have been more confident on the road with most of its wins coming away from home.
Crystal Palace will have a close advantage over the Swans.
Prediction – Swansea V/s Crystal Palace 1-2
