Power Dynamos coach Kelvin Kaindu was full of praises for new signing, Zimbabwe international defender Jimmy Dzingai, who he thinks has added depth to his squad.
Dzingai netted a brace in Monday’s MTN/FAZ Super League week 27 encounter against Lumwana Radiants to send Power to fourth on the log.
Dzingai who was making his home debut, scored a goal in each half to put Power well on their way to a 3-0 victory over Lumwana but his afternoon was sadly cut short after he was injured while scoring his second goal forcing coach Kelvin Kaindu to replace him with White Mwanambaba.
“The coming in of Nzingai has probably added a bit of depth, bringing a defender who scores two goals for you I think is a plus. We have been struggling with scoring from corner-kicks having a player who scored two goals from corner kicks is a plus,” Kaindu said.
Next up for Abayellow is Nkwazi away in Lusaka a match Kaindu anticipates to be very tough but expects his team to keep their momentum.
“Not an easy game playing Nkwazi at Edwin Imboela stadium. We just need to consolidate our position. Probably staying in the top four bracket as much as possible. Every game counts,” he said.
