Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre has challenged his players to prove to him that they deserve to be in his final 23-man African Cup of Nations squad.
Cranes squad is currently camping in Abu Dhabi in preparation for the forthcoming Africa premier tournament that will be staged in Egypt.
The squad currently consists of 26 players and the Frenchman is expected to downsize the squad to 23 before 11th June.
The tactician has now challenged his players to earn their AFCON slots in training by working hard.
“Everything is moving on very well, but I don’t expect anyone of you to relax. We have two friendly matches on 9th and 15th June before we fly out to Egypt. Give me every reason to pick you in the final squad. The mind and body of each player in the camp must remain focused to make my work very easy when selecting the final 23 man squad next week,” he told the players.
