Emmanuel Adebayor’s Nephew Joins Rayon Sports

Rwanda Premier League giants Rayon Sports have signed Togolese midfielder Alex Nyarko Harlley on a one-year-deal.

Rwanda Premier League giants Rayon Sports have signed Togolese midfielder Alex Nyarko Harlley on a one-year-deal.

The 27-year-old former Las Vegas Lights maestro is a nephew to former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Emanuel Adebayor, who currently turns for Paraguayan side Olimpia.

Harlley had parted ways with the USL Championship outfit and the Kigali giants snapped him up ahead of the current season.

The Blues made the announcement regarding the signing of the midfielder on their official Twitter page on Friday.

“Rayon Sports have signed a magic man Alex Harlley. The illustrious Las Vegas Lights FC (USL club) striker known as the ‘Magician of Togo’ is the first act of an attacking overhaul in which the Blues hope will cast magic on the next Year’s Rwandan Premier League,” the tweet reads.

Harlley was released by the National Premier Soccer League outfit in the summer after a one-year stay during which he scored two goals in six appearances.

The former Atlanta Silverbacks winger began his career at Yavapai College before joining FC Santa Claria in 2011.

He later joined Atlanta Silverbacks where he stayed for three seasons and later switched to Georgia Revolution before his move to Las Vegas Lights.
