Coach Maher Guizani left his post on Tuesday after failing to turn up for a morning training routine.

News of the coach’s departure was still trickling in when later in the evening the club’s official site issued a one-sentence dispatch.

“The club’s coaching staff has resigned,” the communiqué read without bothering to delve into issue culminating to the massive resignation.

Metlaoui are perched bottom of the 14-team Tunisian Premier League with a return of just ten points in sixteen games, getting shipped twenty-two goals and scoring a paltry nine.
