Faris Haroun: Mbokani Will Start Scoring Again

Antwerp’s skipper Captain Faris Haroun believes star striker Dieumerci Mbokani will soon resume scoring after a recent drought.

The 34-year-old has gone on for three games without scoring, a setback which has gifted Gent’s Canadian David Jonathan to equal the DR Congo man’s fifteen-goal feat on the scoring charts.

The capital side has slid a bit owing to the shortage of goals when the African is not delivering.

However, captain Faris Haroun is confident Mbokani’s recent drought will end soon.

“Sometimes you just have such a period (when you as a striker are not scoring). Soon the balls will begin getting in again. I am sure that with his qualities, he will soon be decisive for us again, ” he said.
