Gabon international Denis Bouanga could be set to leave FC Lorient for Nimes, with French reports claiming that talks are on-going between the two clubs.
Montpellier and Nimes have both been linked with moves for the 23-year-old midfielder, who struggled this season for Lorient after an initial good spell when he first moved to the South Coast.
Gaboneco, a portal published from Paris have linked Nantes with a move for Bouanga, with the Venice side putting the striker top of their priority list.
L’Équipe have linked the striker with a move to Nimes, with the club confident a transfer from the Crocodiles best would help him rediscover his previous form.
FC Lorient are believed to have obtained a €5 million proposal, more than 3,250,000,000 CFA from Nimes for the transfer of the youngster.
According to a reliable source, the first proposal was €2 million, but when Nimes realized the likes of Montpellier are scrambling to afford the services of the winger they had to revisit their offer.
Nimes are said to be keen on adding Bouanga as they aim to provide adequate cover for free-scoring striker Umut Bizok.
Bouanaga came through the ranks at Torus and had a spell on loan at third tier side Racing Club de Strasbourg before joining Lorient.
The forward who has the intelligence to adapt to different positions across the front three, was born and raised in France and made his international debut in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations that was hosted in Gabon in a tournament opener against Equatorial Guinea.
