Felix Annan Set For Asante Kotoko Exit

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan is reportedly on his way out of the club after failing to agree a new contract.

Annan, who was signed from Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy (now West African Football Academy), looks set to depart from the club after both parties failed to reach an agreement.

A source at the club revealed on Wednesday that the Porcupine Warriors have withdrawn their contract offer and no more talks would take place.

“Annan couldn’t decide whether to accept our offer or not,” the source revealed.

“We accept this decision and will now start planning for the future.

“We will not be offering him any more talks and will immediately start looking at other candidates for the position.”

Annan, who is currently the Asante Kotoko’s captain, joined the club in 2011 and has made a total of 105 Ghana Premier League appearances.

He made his he made his international debut against his club Kotoko in a friendly played at the Baba Yara Stadium.
