France’s FC Metz, Senegal’s Generation to Renew Partnership

Senegal’s league champions Generation Foot are on the brink of renewing their partnership deal with French outfit FC Metz.

Formed in 2003, Generation is a feeder outfit to the French second-tier outfit supplying them a good number of players who have gone to become big hits in the world of football.

With a wide range of scouting network across Africa, the Dakar-based club have become a dominant force in their domestic league winning the staked prize back-to-back.

Sadio Mane, Diafra Sakho, Ismaila Sarr including Gambia’s Ablie Jallow are one of the notable products of Generation Foot.

The deal that bonds the two sides is scheduled to be revised before the end of the month with talks already at an advanced stage, according to L’Equippe.

GF president Mady Toure was this week quoted saying they’re not envious of European teams, insisting facilities at his side can match those abroad.
