Ghanaian international Frank Acheampong has completed a permanent move from Belgian giants Anderlecht to Tianjin Teda following a successful loan stint in China.
The lightning-fast winger has been impressive during his six months China stint scoring four times in his 12 outings, which tempted the side to exercise the buy-out option in Acheampong’s contract.
Anderlecht was the first to announce the move on their twitter page saying,

“The ever-smiling Acheampong was already loaned to the club this summer. Tianjin Teda succeeded, partly thanks to Franky, to keep playing in the first division.”
Acheampong’s journey has been a unique one since kicking off his professional career with Accra sides, King Faisal Babes and Berekum Chelsea in 2011. He left Accra for Thai champions, Buriam United for two years before switching to Anderlecht in 2013 where he established himself as a dominant force.
He made 165 appearances for the Belgian giants, scoring 22 times and played an instrumental part of the side that won the 2013, 2014, and 2017 Belgian top flight titles.
The wide man who has been recently criticized for turning down European giants like Liverpool for a move to China has continuously insisted that at 24, England is still an option and says he will stay in China for a bit longer.
