The Ghana national team, famously known as the Black Stars, will arrive in Nairobi early next week for their training camp according to Ghana Crusader.
The team, which holds most of their pre-tournament trainings in Kenya, will camp in their normal preferred hide out in Naivasha ahead of 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Ethiopia.
The last time the two sides met, the match ended 5-0 in favor of Ghana, who will be seeking their second group match win, while Ethiopia will be looking to redeem themselves from a disappointing 3-0 loss away to Kenya.
Coach Appiah is expected to name a 21-man squad this week for the crucial match that will be staged in Addis Ababa and the major talking point will be the return of the Ayew brothers Andre and Jordan since September 2017.
Andre Ayew has been in fine shape for Fernebache in the Turkish Super Lig and has scored twice in 11 league games for the Turkish giants.
While Jordan Ayew has started 7 games and completed 6 for Crystal Palace in the English Premier League this season.
Appiah is expected to retain captain Asamoah Gyan in his squad after the Kayserispor striker scored his first goal of the season last week in a Cup match.
Mubarak Wakaso, Afriyie Acquah, John Boye, Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Nana Amponsah all who have been regulars for the Black Stars are likely to lose their positions in the team due to injuries.
Ghana are bottom in Group F with three points, trailing group leaders Kenya and Ethiopia who have seven points and four points respectively but with two games less.
