Hope Restored For Man United Defense, As Eric Bailly Returns

Manchester united fans did not only have the opportunity to celebrate their team qualification to the next round of the FA Cup, but also celebrated the returned of their central defender Eric Bailly.

After a long spell on the sidelines due to injury, the Ivorian defender was introduced in the closing minutes of Man United 2-0 win against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup.

United defense has come under huge criticism since the 23-year-old Ivorian sustained an ankle injury in his side fixture against Chelsea in November 2017.

Prior to his injury, the 23-year-old played the full 90 minutes in eight premier league matches out of which they drew one and lost one. During his absence, the Red Devils lost three and drew three out of 16 premier league matches.

The return of the 23-year-old is a major boost to the team ahead of their visit to Spanish side Sevilla for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League knockout this Wednesday.
