Former Everton and Aston Villa midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye could be on his way back to the English Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Watford reported to be willing to battle it out for his signature.
The 30-year-old, who enjoyed fruitful spells in English football with both Everton and Aston Villa, has reportedly been put up for sale by the French giants after just one year at the club.
Wanderers are reported to be more interested with Gueye as a potential replacement for Ruben Neves who is said to have attracted interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
In keeping with The Express, Manager Nuno Espirito Santo is said to be “exploring the possibility” of signing Gueye, who is expected to cost around £32m million.
Gueye possesses plenty of Premier League experience. The Senegal international had a stint with Aston Villa in 2015, having joined from French side Lille before moving to Everton a season later after the Villans were relegated.
The midfielder has shone at Parc des Princes since joining PSG, helping the French club claim their third straight Ligue 1 title this season with a goal in 20 league appearances.
Reports also suggest that the Senegalese international is keen on a return to the Premier League with the same bid that PSG paid to land him from Everton last season.
Gueye, who is a product of the Diambars Academy in Senegal, has scored two goals in 64 appearances for the Teranga Lions.
