Ivorian Midfielder Yapi Boris Looking For a New Club

A search of a new club is underway for an Ivorian defender following his departure from Moossou FC Abidjan.

A search of a new club is underway for an Ivorian midfielder following his departure from Moossou FC Abidjan.

Yapi Boris terminated his contract with the Bassam-based outfit before picking his clearance certificate and is now free to sign with any team.

The 25-year-old, who joined Moossou from Indian Super League outfit FC Goa, remains hopeful of finding a new club in the next transfer window.

“I am still at home training on my own and yes my agent is still checking for a club for me,” Boris told Ducor Sports on Wednesday.

“Yeah, hopefully, there will be something concrete before the next transfer window opens, and I think something will come up as time goes by,” he added.

Boris launched his career at Entente Sportif de Bingerville in 2011 where spent one year before being snapped by Senegalese giants Stade de Mbour.

In 2013, he was part of the Mbour’s side that narrowly missed out on lifting their first Senegal FA Cup crown as they lost to ASEC Abidjan.

Boris who has not played for his country since March 2012, was previously linked with a move back to former club Africa Sports d’Abidjan.

It is the first time since he began his professional career that Boris finds himself without a club.
