Ivorian Striker Attract Interests With His Latest Performances

Ivory Coast’s and Sint-Truiden striker Yohan Boli is attracting interest from “half of Europe”, according to the player’s representatives.

Ivory Coast’s and Sint-Truiden striker Yohan Boli is attracting interest from “half of Europe”, according to the player’s representatives.

Boli has scored 11 goals in 18 matches and provided seven assists across all competitions this season, including two in his last two league games, and that sort of form has seen him attract interest from big clubs around Europe.

Dutch news outlet Voetbalkrant claims over 10 clubs including Anderlecht are among the sides interested in the France-born star.

Anderlecht join Galatasaray, Racing Genk, Zulte Waregem and Bordeaux in the 26-year-old star, while English Premiership side Brighton and Hove Albion have also been linked.

But, given Boli’s €2.5 million price tag, it seems highly unlikely that they will be able to finance a move for the striker.

“The entire European top is interested,” says father Roger Boli, “Two million is cheap, in other circumstances my son would be worth six million.”

The player’s contract with the Sint-Truiden runs down at the end of the season and the report adds Sint-Truiden are ready to offload him in the winter market.

Boli who is a cousin of Ivorian footballer Yannick Boli has made five appearances for Ivory Coast since making his international debut two years ago.
