Lille In Talks To Sign TP Mazembe Star

French Ligue 1 outfit Lille Olympique Sporting Club is set to capture the signature of TP Mazembe and Leopards’ starlet Jackson Muleka.

The Mastiffs have been after the services of Muleka for the past three weeks and they are set to finally have him in their arsenal.

The new development comes after the Ravens rejected the shocking bid made by newly promoted side Ligue 1 side RC Lens for the services of wonder kid.

TP Mazembe put a €1 million price tag on Muleka in June and Lens couldn’t offer something near to what the Congolese giants were asking.

However, France Football claims that Lille has begun discussions with African giants TP Mazembe over a possible deal for the 20-year-old attacker.

Muleka was one of the breakthrough stars in the Congolese Linafoot in the recently concluded season, scoring 15 goals in 20 league appearances.

The Ecofoot Katumbi Academy graduate leads the top-scoring chat in the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League with seven goals in ten games.

Muleka has been a regular in the Congolese side since 2018 making over 30 continental appearances notching 14 goals and registering four assists.

The Lubumbashi-born striker made his debut the national team in 2019 and has been capped seven times scoring three times.

If Lille gets to sign Muleka, he will be the star man on an already stacked side as he will receive more publicity and attention than he does in Africa.
